The actress Odette Lara, who died today in Rio de Janeiro at 85 years old, participated in the 1st National Cinema Festival of Maringá, held in May 1958. In the photo, the JC Cecílio acquis, she appears alongside Alberto Ruschel, Eva Wilma and John Herbert visiting a coffee plantation.
Odette Lara started as mannequin and poster girl and made his film debut in the 50's, working in more than 50 films, including "Go to work, bum" and "Empty Night". In music, has partnered with Chico Buarque and Vinicius de Morais. On television, his last performance was in 1994, "My Motherland" novel, on Rede Globo. She left the race after he converted to Buddhism. Odette Lara died in his sleep, and the body will be taken tomorrow to Freiburg, where it will be cremated.
