Yvette Lebon, France’s oldest actress has died
 
Yvette Lebon, the oldest of France’s actresses, known for her role in "Marinella" alongside Tino Rossi, has died at the age of 103 in Cannes, France. Yvette Lebon-Wachsberger, the dean of French actors, was born on August 14, 1910 and died last Monday July 28th, said the obituary published in the Figaro.
 
She starred in "Zouzou" (1934) with Josephine Baker and Jean Gabin, "Abus de confiance" (1937) with Danielle Darrieux, "Romance in Paris" (1941) with Charles Trenet, "Le destin fabuleux de Désirée Clary" (1942) starring Sacha Guitry. But her most famous role was that of Lise in "Marinella" in 1936, with Tino Rossi. Her funeral will be held in Hollywood, California, says the book.
