Natale Tulli, who died Wednesday, July 16 after a long illness that had plagued him in the recent years. Tulli, one of the most well-known characteristics of Italian cinema, he has worked throughout his career with some of the greatest Italian directors such as Federico Fellini, Dino Risi, Luchino Visconti and, most importantly, Sergio Corbucci. The character actor and speck, heavily caricatured characters of certain types or patterns of behavior present in Italy in the Italian comedy portrayed, they are also one of the reasons for the great success of this genre with its strong comic but also of content that in addition to laugh the public also wants to stimulate reflection albeit distorted view of the realistic representation of certain peculiarities that through a character you can bring to the screen. After the first film (including the very first one was "Barabbas" by Richard Fleischer in 1961) as a simple appearance, even in such memorable films as "The Leopard" and Visconti's "Amarcord" and "Satyricon" by Fellini, Tulli carves out coming more and more space to play various caricatures in the golden age of Italian comedy up to co-starring roles in the '90s in movies by Marco Risi "the herd" and "The Last New Year's Eve." His last film was "Horse Fever 2-Mandrake" in the role of the legendary theatrical agent said Frank Sinatra, who is well suited to this Roman truthful (in the course of his life he lived and the way the township Trullo Portonaccio) . An actor who sympathy and skill has managed to combine also a good ductility, being used not only in the roles of "romanaccio" or man of the people but also in various other parts, from the western to poliziottesco, the dramatic thriller.
