Mexican artist Jose Angel Espinosa "Ferrusquilla" dies at age 96

The entertainment world is mourning the untimely death of Jose Angel Espinosa "Ferrusquilla", singer, composer and Mexican actor, who died of a stroke, at 96 years old. The father of actress Angelica Aragon first, "Ferrusquilla" died last night in a hospital in Mazatlan, Mexico.
Espinosa was born in Choix, Sinaloa, but moved to Mazatlan in order to continue his studies, then a group of friends convinced him to travel to Mexico City, because his dream was to become a doctor.
His direction changed when he went to work in the XEQ as an assistant in 1938, and became a great speaker and voice actor, which led to the big screen until appearing in 80 films alongside such legends as Carmen Montejo, Sara Garcia, Maria Felix and many more.
Likewise, I had the opportunity to share the screen with Hollywood personalities such as Richard Burton, Clint Eastwood and Anthony Quinn.
His song "Echame Blame Me" threw him into fame and he became popular in Spain, to the level of shooting a movie with the same name that starred the Spanish actress Lola Flores and Mexican singer and actor Miguel Aceves Mejia.
"Ferrusquilla" received the Peace Medal of the UN in 1976, along with Lola Beltrán and Tito Guízar; Finally in 2008 he received the title "Doctor Honoris Causa" by the University of Sinaloa.
