Yves Barsacq, French film actor, dead at 84

Yves Barsacq, French actor and artist. Born in Paris in 1931, died of the consequences of pneumonia.

Barsacq was a recognizable face of French cinema and television, for which he has participated in over 170 films, not counting his intense activity of dubbing.

Among his most remembered appearances was that of the television series of Arsene Lupin, produced in the early 1970s, but also had parts in productions (his role in "Love and War" by Woody Allen, in the '70s)
.
For years Barsacq lived in Liguria, a land he loved and where he had studied and learned the Italian language of which he was fond.
