David A. “Dave – Bubba” Powledge, 67, of Dayton, died Saturday, September 12, 2015, at the Medical Resort at Bay Area in Pasadena.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 17, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with services concluding thereafter. Arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
David was born October 21, 1947 in Houston, to parents; G.A. and Coleen Porter Powledge, a former resident of Galveston, and has resided in Dayton for the past year and a half. He graduated from Deer Park High School class of 1966 and received his Master’s degree from Washington State in 1971. He was an actor, stuntman, and held memberships in the Stuntmen’s Association and the Screen Actors Guild.
Mr. Powledge was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sisters: Linda Buckner and husband Jerry of Pasadena, Mary Powledge Lion and husband Jay of Pasadena, and Nancy Oleski and husband Chris of Pasadena, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
