(AGI) - Rome, October 5, actress Anna Maria Gherardi has died. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday October 7 at 10 am, in Rome, in the chapel of Holy Family Health. Anna Maria Gherardi, born in Bologna October 15, 1939 and was an Italian actress of theater, film and television, active mainly in the 1970s. Occasionally she was also dubber: she gave her voice to Emmanuelle Riva in “Gli occhi, la bocca” (1982), and was the narrator in “Al Fatah – Palestine”, (1970). Gherardi was trained at the school of the Piccolo Teatro di Milano, where she graduated, debuted in 1960, at twenty-one, in Adelchis, playing alongside Vittorio Gassmann. She was active in the area of experimental theater and Roman and was directed by Maurizio Scapparo in “Le serve di Jean Genet”, who was in the cast Piera Degli Esposti. Her repertoire includes, among others, the works of Arthur Schnitzler and Pedro Calderon de la Barca. Directed by Luca Ronconi and interpreter was Ignorabimus of Arno Holz, and the job for which' was awarded the 1986 prize theatrical Ubu.
