The Writer’s Guild has announced the death of television actor and writer Nate Esformes. Nate died in Los Angeles, California on June 19, 2013. Born in New York City on June 29, 1932 he was typecast playing Latinos, he appeared in over 60 films and television programs. Among his appearances were 12 Westerns from ‘The Iron Horse’ in 1967 to the TV movie ‘Billy the Kid’ in 1989. Sad to say that if not for the Writer’s Guild notice his death would have gone unnoticed.
